Ebike conversion fail

 I got a rear hub  on aliexpress to convert my old MTN bike to an e-bike for commuting, 

If anyone has a 500W Bafang motor that makes a horrible grinding sound, I have a diagnosis. Mine came with extra metal bits in the gearset from the factory. totally destroyed the plastic planetary gears before I even got a chance to ride it.

 After re-working the corners i was finally able to get a good fit. Next up Paint!

Temporary cooling system to keep the IGBT temps down

 Salvaging a few parts to complete the cooling loop. The Blue G49 screamed fish tank tubing. if it works, I'll replace the zip-ties with proper mounts.
